Sunny Home Manager and Bonus Program: SMA at the Intersolar 2011

For SMA, the Intersolar 2011 is all about grid integration. This year, the company will be presenting the SMA solution to analyzing and optimizing self-consumption - the Sunny Home Manager in combination with the Sunny Backup system - including PV forecast data and variable electricity tariffs. “Photovoltaics is making an ever greater contribution to the energy supply. Against this backdrop, the focus of our development quite clearly lies in the topic of grid integration”, says Roland Grebe, SMA's Chief Technology Officer. According to Grebe, in the medium and long term, it is necessary to ensure that feeding in solar power to the grid goes hand in hand with a high level of grid stability. “Accordingly, one of the features now included in the Sunny Home Manager, which was presented as a design study at the Intersolar 2010, is the integration of the solar irradiation forecast, thus making it more intelligent and more future-proof. In the field of photovoltaics, this innovation signifies an important innovative leap forward”, says Grebe.

Emphasis is also given to the presentation of the expanded training program of the SMA Solar Academy and the new services offered by the Sunny PRO Club and SMA Service. A further highlight is the brand-new SMA bonus program designed exclusively for solar power professionals. At the SMA booth, interested visitors will have the opportunity to discuss all these topics, including new services, contract details and individual questions, face to face with the relevant specialists.

As last year, SMA is to be found at Stand 230, Hall B4, and in the outdoor area at FG.110. For those who are particularly interested in such topics as PV grid integration or self-consumption, you will also find SMA at the PV Special Show, Booth B5.130, Hall B5.
