In addition to the state-of-the-art PV system monitoring and control solutions the SMA COM Gateway offers in combination with the SMA Cluster Controller and, in the future, also with the Sunny Home Manager, other benefits include options for direct marketing of PV power.”
Easy communication upgrade
The SMA COM Gateway supports up to 50 RS485 devices and is installed directly on the wall or on a top-hat rail. When a system is being upgraded or a data logger replaced, it enables the use of the SMA Cluster Controller and, in the future, also the Sunny Home Manager, the control center of the SMA Smart Home.
