Migration to the new Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS

Over the next few weeks, we will migrate your plant from the current Sunny Portal to the new Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS.

New plants are already being created exclusively there.

When will my plant be migrated?

We plan to carry out the migration in several phases. We will notify you individually by email beforehand.

Approximately two weeks before the migration, you will receive an email notification.

To ensure that your plant can be fully transferred to the new Sunny Portal, your Sunny Home Manager 2.0 must be connected to the Internet during migration. If temporary connection issues occur during the planned period, the migration will automatically be retried later.

If you do not want to wait for the automatic migration by SMA and you have administrator rights for your plant, you can migrate your plant to the ennexOS platform yourself.

Go to: https://ennexos.sunnyportal.com
Sign in using your existing SMA ID account that you also used for the previous Sunny Portal.
Select "Configuration" in the menu on the left and then "Create system".
Choose the option "Moving an existing Sunny Portal system with Sunny Home Manager 2.0 ".
Search for your plant and follow the instructions.
The migration only takes a few minutes.

Which data will be transferred?

All important information about your plant will be transferred, including settings, configurations and customizations.

Transferred data includes for example:

User management settings
Your report settings
Electricity tariff and active power limitation configurations
Defined battery charging times
Consumer control settings, e.g. configured time windows

Your yield data will also be retained: All daily, monthly and annual yields for the entire lifetime of your plant as well as device-specific yield data will be transferred completely. Intraday performance curves will be available for the last 60 days after migration and then continue to be recorded as usual.

Please note: All existing users will be assigned standard user rights after migration. Guest users will not be transferred and must be added again if required.

You can continue using your plant as usual after the migration.

Note for plants with a separate PV production meter

In most cases migration will take place without any special considerations. Only certain plant configurations may result in differences in data display.

This may apply in particular if:

A separate meter is used for total PV generation while SMA inverters are installed.

In this case, parallel use of a total generation meter is no longer supported in the new Sunny Portal. Individual PV generators will be displayed directly. This may lead to duplicated yield values. The functionality of your plant is not affected; this is only a display difference.

Please ensure that your PV production meter only records devices that are not directly measured by the Sunny Home Manager 2.0.

What features are no longer available in the new Sunny Portal?

Some additional functions have been changed or will no longer be available in the future.

SolarCoins: No new SolarCoins will be credited automatically.
Tigo integration: Detailed views are no longer available in Sunny Portal and can be accessed directly via the Tigo system.

The new Sunny Portal focuses on clear visualization, high stability and the continuous enhancement of core functions.

What happens after the migration?

Once the migration is complete, your plant will be available in the new Sunny Portal. You will receive a confirmation email and can access your plant data as usual using your SMA ID. The SMA Energy App will automatically display the updated plant.
