Limited factory warranty

Peace of mind should not be optional.

All SMA products, including inverters, are thoroughly tested before they leave the plant. All the same, if an issue occurs within the first five years we will replace or repair the inverter (including all updates) in no time at all. We will send you the replacement device as quickly as possible or arrange a repair. We will also take care of the shipping costs, any customs duties* and pay your tradesperson a service rebate* for the installation.

At SMA, we understand the value of complete peace of mind. Regardless of when you purchased an SMA product, you can extend the full cover provided by SMA (during the initial limited factory warranty period) – up to 15 and 20 years*.

SMA Extended Warranty Flex

Guaranteed certainty for PV systems of 100 kWp inverter capacity or more

With the SMA Flex extended warranty, system operators can protect their PV systems outside the limited factory warranty as well. Only available for the devices listed on the FLEX order form.

For PV systems of 100 kWp inverter capacity or more
Can be taken out within the first ten years after commissioning, and even outside an existing warranty
Option to pay annually
Can be terminated by both parties on an annual basis
Automatic annual extension
Term of up to 20 years after the commissioning date
