Sunport Delfzijl Solar Park – 30 MW
Utility-scale PV power plant – Netherlands, 2016
The solar park consists of around 123,000 modules, and took a year to build, with an investment of €40 million. Electricity generated from the 30 MWp project will be fed into the grid under a ppa between developers Wirsol and Dutch utility Eneco.
The electricity generated would be enough to provide about 7,500 average Dutch households with power. If a Google datacenter, located just next to the solar park, will also profit from the generated clean solar power was not sure to date.
