With the Sunny Island 2224 and the Sunny Island 2012, SMA Technologie AG completes its off-grid product range. The new inverters offer all the advantages of the powerful Sunny Island 5048. And at only approximately 18 kilograms, they are also particularly lightweight and easy to use. Another new addition to the portfolio is the Sunny Island Charger 40 MPT, a charge controller equipped with MPP tracking for connecting small PV systems on the DC side. In May 2008, SMA will introduce the products at the ECOTEC 2008 and at the 4th European PV-Hybrid and Mini-Grid Conference in Athens for the first time.
