SMA replacement device

Upon receiving the order, we normally send out the replacement device within 48 hours. You will receive a comparable device with all the necessary updates. If a device is replaced within the warranty period, the remaining warranty period carries over to the replacement device.

How do I receive a replacement device?

As a plant owner:
Please contact your installer.

As an installer:
In order to help you quickly, please create a case in our Online Service Center (as a logged-in installer) with all relevant information and request an SMA replacement device.

Are you familiar with SMA Repowering?

Instead of an SMA replacement device, you will receive an inverter from our latest product portfolio. This way, you will increase the efficiency and the return on your investment, while at the same time extending the warranty covering your equipment.

SMA Service rebate

The service rebate is our remuneration for installers who replace inverters for us at customer’s site. The principle behind it is that you support us and we compensate you by paying a rebate for your services.

Our key requirement: It must be a warranty case.
